Janggo Dance (長鼓舞)

Janggo Dance, also known as Janggu Dance, is a traditional Korean dance!

The janggo dance is performed with the rope of the janggu drum (a type of traditional Korean drum) tied over the shoulder.

The distinctive feature of this dance is the beating of the janggu while dancing to various rhythms of the drum.

Jeongdong Theater’s unique venue, Jeongdong Maru

Going through the ‘Jeongdam’ cafe located on the first floor of Jeongdong Theater, on the second floor, our unique venue ‘Jeongdong Maru’ has been prepared!

Here, before the start of the performance, the Janggu Experience program is held for approximately 30 minutes!

From 15:00 to 15:30!

The actual Janggu Teacher who appeared in <The Palace: Jang Noksu> as well as the other Samul (traditional Korean percussion) teachers will personally instruct the program!

However!

Currently, we only accept group application (10 people or more) to participate in the program.

Individual application is not available and this program is exclusively for the performance + Janggu experience package.
