[The Palace: Tale of Jang Noksu] Travel Back in Time at Deoksugung Palace

Hello, this is Jeongdong Theater!

Continuing from our previous post about the Jeongdong Observatory, we’ll be introducing another unique attraction near the theater in this post!

That is Deoksugung Palace!

Deoksugung Palace is only a 10-minute walk from Jeongdong Theater so visiting these two places in one day would be killing two birds with one stone 🙂

Unlike the other palaces, Deoksugung Palace is open every night.

After watching <The Palace: Tale of Jang Noksu>, have some dinner and hop over to Deoksugung Palace for a relaxing night stroll!

Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of traditional Joseon period after watching a traditional performance to better understand the olden days of traditional Korea!

What better way to experience life in the Joseon period other than seeing the traditional architectures with your own eyes?

Even if you’re not a fan of traditional and cultural stuff, it’s still a wonderful way to spend a relaxing evening and unplug yourself from everyday life.

Evening admission is available at Deoksugung Palace and last admission is at 8:00PM.

The buildings will light up and illuminate the palace with beautiful lights in the evening.

Visitors who visit the palace during this time can feel the serenity of the palace while strolling under the moonlight.

From May to September, a special event is held at the palace known as Deoksugung Pungnyu. Every Thursday, a concert will be held at Jeonggwanheon Hall at 7:00PM.

Traditional Korean performances such as pansori and traditional Korean music are performed.

Remember to check this out if you plan to visit the palace on a Thursday night!
